Mrs. Flora Mae Stewart Broussard passed from this life on February 7, 2018 in Lake Charles, LA. She is survived by her five children and their families including her son, Robert (Bobby) Broussard of DeRidder, LA; daughter Debby Foreman and husband Bubba Foreman of Crowley, LA and their children, Darryl Foreman and wife Jenny of Crowley, LA, Amanda Brittain and husband Brady of College Station, TX and Casey Foreman of Egan, LA; daughter Peggy LeBeouf and husband Ronnie LeBeouf, Crowley, LA and their two sons, Kyle LeBeouf and wife Jeanne of Crowley, LA, Kurt LeBeouf and wife Angie of DeRidder, LA; daughter Jerry Ann Martin and husband Bruce Martin, DeRidder, LA and their two daughters, Tera James and husband Jamie of Rosepine, LA, Kadi James and husband Troy of Rosepine, LA; and son, Billy Broussard and wife Gina of Center, TX and their son, Dennis Broussard and his wife Melissa of Nacogdoches, TX. She has 21 great grandchildren including Amber, Nick, and Bryonna Foreman; Emily, Ella, Beau, Julia, Josh, and Max Foreman; Elise, Evelyn, Camille, Kara and Lani LeBeouf; Coleman, & Alyson James; Kailyn & Rayleigh James; and, Richard, Billy Kason, and Makinlie Broussard. Like a daughter and close family friend Janell & Kenneth Heathcock & son Sean Lambert.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Floyd Broussard; her parents Offard and Alice Winn Stewart; her brothers Ray and Henry Stewart and sisters, Florence Earls and Margie Walsh.
Flora Mae was born on February 27, 1929 in Rayne, LA. She grew up in Crowley and moved to DeRidder in 1970 with her husband and family. She was a member of the Homemakers Association, Beauregard’s Cattlemen’s Association Cowbells and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Flora loved her family and friends deeply and always enjoyed cooking for them and visiting. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
