Ferman Vines' Obituary
Graveside services for Ferman Vines, age 88, of Sabine Parish, LA will be held Wednesday, December 2nd at 3:00 P.M. at Pisgah Cemetery in Toro Community, LA with Bro. Hoy Leach officiating. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Vines passed away on Tuesday, December 01, 2009 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish, Louisiana, a barber, and he loved to build and do woodworking. He served in the U.S. Army having served as a medic in War War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Theodosia Peace Vines and daughter Sharon Barnett.
He is survived by wife Etha Vines of Gibsland, LA; son Winfred H. Vines of Toledo Bend, LA; daughter Paula & husband Benny Dew of Toro Community, LA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
