Felipe (Phillip) Cruz Bentancur, 61, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Phillip was born on August 21, 1963 to Manuel and Virginia Cruz Bentancur in East Bernard, Texas.
Phillip is proceeded in death by his parents; Manuel and Virginia Bentancur, brother; Tony Bentancur, and sister; Linda Perez.
Phillip is survived by his companion; Deborah Lange of DeRidder, two brothers; Gilbert and Manuel Jr. Bentancur, three sons; Felipe Jr. Bentancur (Angela), Daniel Bentancur (Rebecca), and JoeManuel Bentancur. six grandchildren and one great grandchild all from Richmond -Rosenberg, Texas. Phillip also had two step children; Cruz and Jessica Bentancur, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held July 7th, 2025 at 9:00AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral Service will be held July 7th, 2025 at 10:00AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder followed by a burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
