Everett (joe) Wynn McCain's Obituary
Funeral services for Everett W. (Joe) McCain, 69, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023 from 5:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
Joe suffered cardiac arrest on March 31, 2023 at Rapides Regional Hospital in Alexandria, La.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, O.B. McCain, and Audrey Fay Nichols Johnson, and one brother, Clayron McCain of North Carolina.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 46 years, Debbie, his son Jonathan (Jay) McCain, and his daughter Alysha McCain Osborne all of Leesville. His sister, Brenda McCain Crow and husband Larry of Destin, Fl, and brother Alton McCain of Leesville.
His special brother by another mother for over 46 years Billy Williams and wife Sandy of Anacoco. A special adopted son of 30 years, Brian Beasley from Colorado/Leesville.
He leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews.
Joe worked for the construction side of the telephone company in Leesville from 1972 until moving to Denver Colorado in 1992. Upon returning to Leesville in 2008, he worked for the Vernon Parish Police Jury until his retirement on December 14th, 2018.
He was a life member of the Masonic Lodge #240 and a retired member of the Black Hawk Motorcycle club.
Due to his belief in organ donation two people will be given the gift of sight. Through his eyes they will be able to see the world.
Pall Bearers are Josh Taylor, Luke Kelly, Timothy Wayne Tuck, Billy Weatherford, Brian Beasley, and Don Crowe.
