Funeral services for Evelyn Mary Alice Isbell, 80, of DeRidder, LA, will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Spring Creek Baptist Church, in DeRidder, LA, with Bro. Dalton Isbell officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 10 am until time of service at the church.
Evelyn Mary Alice Isbell, the daughter of William Robert and Nancy Beulah Davis Burks, was born January 26, 1936, in Pitkin, Louisiana. She passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Isbell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Ted Isbell; siblings, Roy Burks, Ara-May Johnson, Bobby Burks, Joy Pearl Townsley & Shelby Burks and sons, Aaron Dell Isbell and James David Isbell.
She is survived by her Children, Dahlia Nancy Pelt & husband, James of DeRidder, Howard Darrel Isbell & wife, Regina of DeRidder, Robert Douglas Isbell & wife Jennifer of DeRidder, Delbert Paul Isbell & wife, Rhonda of Merryville, Timothy Dewayne Isbell & wife Monica of DeRidder, Dalton Isbell & wife, Ramona of DeRidder, Derwin Isbell & wife, Laurie of Dry Creek: Brother, Darval J. Burks & wife, Betty of DeRidder; Nineteen Grandchildren; Forty-Four Great Grandchildren and Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
