Emogene W. "Jean" Nance's Obituary
Funeral services for Emogene W. "Jean" Nance, 85, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at the First Assembly of God in Leesville with Rev. Danny Baker, Rev. Robin Hunt and Rev. Les Comeaux officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Leesville Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 26th from 5 pm - 9 pm, then Wednesday, November 27th, from 9 am until service time in the church.
Jean, the daughter of Nathan James and Annie D. Connell Williams was born August 11, 1928, in Hopeville, AR. She passed away Saturday, November 23rd at her residence in Leesville.
Mrs. Nance was the Bookkeeper for D. C. Nance Trucking Company. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Leesville; she served her Lord faithfully and never wavered in her faith. She was a homemaker always devoting her time and love to her family who she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. C. “Cliff” Nance, Son, Mark Nance and daughter, Vicki Ennis.
She is survived by son, Dan & Donna Nance of Leesville; daughter, Marilyn & Joe Oden of Leesville; daughter-in-law, Rene Nance Duhon;grandchildren, Joey & Rachelle Oden, Stacey Oden and Ron & Manda Ennis, Jason Ennis, Josh Nance, Ashley Nance and Tanner Nance and nine great grandchildren.
