Emma Jean McConathy Miller's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Jean McConathy Miller, 81, of DeRidder will be held at 10:00a.m. Wednesday, July 9, in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, with the Rev. Lindsay Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery.
She was a native of Florien, La, but lived in DeRidder most of her adult life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy D. Miller, the former Beauregard Parish Tax Assessor and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
She is survived by:
Daughter - Jan and husband David Darnell of DeRidder, La.; Brother - Hershal and wife Bettye McConathy of Littleton, Co.; Grandson - Ben Darnell of Baton Rouge, La. and a host of Nieces of Nephew.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2008 4p.m. until 8p.m in the Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 8 am until service time.
