Elsie D. Fletcher's Obituary
Funeral services for Elsie D. Fletcher, 90, of Leesville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2008 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. W.T. Shelton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cryer Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 4p.m. until 10 p.m. today, May 8, at the Labby Memorial Chapel in Leesville.
Mrs. Fletcher passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Schumpert Hospital in Shreveport.
Mrs. Fletcher was born December 24, 1917 in Vernon Parish. She worked for the Vernon Parish School Board for a number of years and later worked for the Rosepine Nursing Home. She enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and cooking for her family. She loved spoiling her son and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernie Fletcher.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth and wife Virginia Fletcher of Leesville; brother, Lynwood Davis of Leesville; two grandchildren Dwayne Fletcher of Leesville and Debbie Lurvey of Springfield, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Curtis Fletcher and Justin Fletcher, both of Leesville; Chasta Fletcher of Fla. and Miranda Ellzey of Springfield, Mo and one great-great-grandchild, Dyllan Eaves of Leesville.
