Eloise Curry's Obituary
Funeral services for Eloise Curry, 73, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Toledo Bend Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Eloise Watley Curry was born September 20, 1940 in Newton, Tx to Arvy Watley & Bernice Joiner.
She was preceded in death by her mother; Bernice Joiner, father Arvy Watley, brother Ellis Jackson, daughter Veronica Peters and grandson Dewight Taylor.
Eloise W. Curry accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a supply clerk at Folk Polk, where she worked the majority of her life. Other ventures she was involved in were DOL and she was a small business owner. She also loved playing bingo whenever she possibly could.
She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband of 19yrs, Berry Curry Jr., one son Charles Edward Peters (Betty Hickman & Family), daughters, Bernice Peters-Taylor (Robert) Diane Peters, Darlene Renee Peters. Brothers Leo Watley, Leon Watley (Cynthia). Leland Watley, Samuel Watley (Joyce) & Orin Fox. Sisters Jennie B Jefferson, Virginia Mosley, Jean Chaney.
Grandchildren: Yvonne Peters, Curtis Peters (Roshunda Wilson), Robert Taylor Jr., Denny Peters, Yurlanda Davis (Michael), Jennifer Sapp, Darnette Elkins (Chris), Kametria Taylor, Tabitha Taylor, Eric Taylor (Crystal), Iesha Taylor, Kamila Castille (Simon & Family), Dezirae Henry.
Great-Grandchildren: Ti’Cierra Peters, Dequan Wilson, Chavon Cooper, Davon Cooper, Tinique Fry, Samuel Fry, Darrell Cooper, Keyshawn Peters, Darrion Beebe, Malaija Davis, Damarrion Engram, Jayden Taylor, Razavion Taylor, Jerrion Peters, Ja’Myla Elston, Ja’Nyla Peters, Joseph Cooper-Peters, Imoni Grooms, Amori Jones.
