Ella Ethel Goins Martin's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Ethel Goins Martin, 97, of Leesville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 in the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Mora Louisiana with Rev’s Ricky Carver, Ed Basco, and Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mora under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Visitation will be held at the Sunny Hill Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. on Monday until 11a.m. on Tuesday, and then from 12 noon until service time Tuesday in the Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Mrs. Martin passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the Natchitoches Community Care Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Mora Community and a member of the Sunny Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Alonzo Martin, Her Son and Daughter in law – Lonnie & Gertrude Martin, Two Sons in law – Artice Martin & Ron Murray, One Granddaughter – Gwendolyn Hall, One Grandson – Kevin Martin, and One grandson in law – Wesley Boothe
She is survived by her son and daughter in law – James Alton & Sandra Martin of Natchitoches, La.; Daughter – Juanita Murray of Nacogdoches, Tx.; Daughters and Sons in law – LaWanda & Raymond Crager of Leesville, La, and Dorothy and Huey Whatley of Nacogdoches, Tx.; One Sister – Leta Coburn of Mora, La.; 18 grandchildren; 49 Great Grandchildren; 24 Great Great Grandchildren.
