Elizabeth Norman's Obituary
Elizabeth (Betty) Helen Norman, 84, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 at her residence. Betty was born June 19, 1937 to Joseph and Alice Weise in Letts, Iowa. She moved to DeRidder, Louisiana in 1976 where she has since resided. Betty loved working in the yard and dancing with James. She never met a stranger and always had a smile on her face. Left to cherish her memory are her partner of 40 years, James Pope; children, Sharon Norman, Steven Norman (deceased), Sandy Cram, Bruce Norman and Elizabeth Hendriks; and sister, Kitty Steele; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Celebration of life service will be at 11am on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Grace Church in DeRidder with Pastor George Glass officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association.
