Elizabeth "Elaine" Farque's Obituary
Elizabeth Elaine Farque entered peacefully into rest on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 2 days, at her home with her family by her side. Elizabeth was born on November 14, 1940, in DeRidder, LA to Lois and Mary Maurice West Smith.
Visitation will begin Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 11:00 AM until funeral service begins at 2:00 PM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 2110 HWY 171 DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Frank Ott officiating. Interment will be at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Wendell Sprague, Jr. and wife Margaret of Oklahoma City, OK, and Danny Paul Sprague and wife Faydra of Germany; daughter, Wendy Sprague of DeRidder; grandchildren, Megan, Hannah, Monica, Michael, Samantha, Sean, Shannon, Haley, and Madison; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Michael Smith of New Mexico; two sisters, Margaret Lyon and husband Harold of DeRidder, and MaryAnn Justilien and husband Norvelle of DeRidder; sister-in-law, Judy Smith of DeRidder; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Mary Smith; brother, Gerald Smith; spouses, Wendell Sprague, Sr., Waylon Dupree, and James Farque.
