Funeral services for Elfriede Maria Michailov, 73, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2014, at Saint Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville with Father Anthony Catella officiating. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 17th from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Elfriede, the daughter of Lorenz and Theresia Koenig Habermeier was born October 16, 1940, in Munich, Germany. She passed away Monday, January 13th, in Alexandria.
She loved gardening, pets, making jewelry, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Antonij Michailov of Leesville, LA; son, Alex & wife, Chasity Michailov of Leesville; sisters, Thea Weber of Munich, Germany & Angie Habermeier of Munich, Germany and grandchildren, Anthony L. Michailov, Miranda E. Michailov, Zach Michailov, Noel Michailov and Chelsea Michailov.
