My deepest sympathy. I love Edward and working with him at Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission. After he retired I visited him and Ms. Johnnie Mae in their home and was treated to such hospitality. He could entertain for hours with his stories. Rest in Peace my friend.
So sorry to hear about 'Punkin'. I was a member of the High School Band and remember him as a fantastic trumpet player. (Class of 1944)

I am so sorry for your loss. Ed Palmer was a backbone of the United Methodist Church of Leesville's choir for years. He was a great support for Johnnie Mae, our director. He was so talented and also blessed us with his witty, dry sense of humor. God bless you all.

Mr. Palmer (and Mrs. Palmer) always welcomed the troop of Johns friends who frequently congregated at their house after band practice and throughout the year. I remember Mr. Palmer making frequent walkthroughs as we were goofing around like kids do. As a parent, I now realize he was making a chaperone check in an inconspicuous way. So many fond memories of him! He will missed and lovingly remembered.
