Edward Allen Garess' Obituary
Funeral services for Edward Allen Garess, 71, of Leesville will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ft. Hope Baptist Church in Leesville with Bro. Keary Jordan and Bro. Joe Sanchez officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until time of service in the church.
Mr. Garess was born on July 18, 1949 in Leesville, to his parents Albert & Ethel Lee Thompson Garess. He passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents; His sister and brother in law: Linda & Buck Goins, and brother in law: John Albany.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nita Garess of Leesville; Sons, Jerry & Jacinthia Garess, and David & Teena Garess; Daughter, Tina & Joe Sanchez; Grandchildren, Janna & Jacob Garess and Joseph & Megan Sanchez; Sisters, Glenda & Herman Erwin, Joyce & George Ferguson, Lorita Albany, Clieta & Stafford Withers, and Wanda Krainz.
