Edward "Mr. Ed" Kranzman's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Edward E. “Mr. Ed” Kranzman, 75, of Leesville will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church in Leesville with Rev. Ken Graham officiating. The burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm till 8:00 pm Sunday, March 9th and then 8:00 am until 2:00 pm in the funeral home Monday, March 10th then 3 pm until service time in the church.
Mr. Kranzman passed away March 8th at the St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Ed was born in Ft Wayne, Indiana. He retired from the US Army as a SFC E-7 after serving for 24 years year was also was a Vietnam War veteran having two tours of duty. He also retired from AAFAS as a Warehouse Supervisor. Ed also served as Santa Claus at Fort Polk for over 30 years at Toyland. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #401.
The Family request that memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church in Leesville or the St Jude Children Hospital.
He is survived by his sons, Raymond Kranzman of Leesville and Edward H. Kranzman of Longview, TX; Daughters, Linda (husband, Howard) Hudgens of Leesville and Diana (husband Charles Jones) Kranzman of Lake Charles, LA; Five Grandchildren, Tiffany Hudgens, Stephanie Hudgens, Tammie Kranzman, Bardley Kranzman and Kevin Kranzman.
