Funeral services for Edna White Moses, 93, of DeRidder, LA, will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA with Rev. Charles Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Mrs. Moses passed from this life on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at DeRidder, LA.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
Edna was born on Tuesday, February 7, 1922, to James and Callie Deason White at Cravens, LA.
She is survived by 1 son, Ronald Henderson and wife Lynn of Shreveport, LA; 2 daughters, Lou Ann Stuart and husband Leroy of DeRidder, LA and Connie Brown and husband Richard of Baton Rouge, LA; 5 sisters, Ruth Deason of DeRidder, LA and Bobbie Gibson of Dallas, TX; 6 grandchildren, Chad Henderson, Brent Henderson, Vickie Stuart, Richard Stuart and wife Lynn, Lasey Lutz and husband Joel and Michael Brown and 8 great grandchildren.
Edna is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Moses; sisters, Winnie Thompson, Annette Simmons, Lilly Hickman, Jewel James and brother, Romelzie White.
