My sincere sympathy at the death of your mother. I had recently learned that your father, Edwin, had died. My intentions were to send my condolence message -- and that is how I came across your mother's obituary. \r\n \r\n My cousin, Mary Ann Cooper of DeQuincy, had sent a newspaper clipping about Edwin to me. I met your father through my grandmother, Pearlie Spikes Jones. I had the pleasure of picking and eating some of the peaches he grew on his farm! And my grannie sometimes shipped fresh peaches to me here in Alaska!! I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet him. \r\n \r\n I also lost my mother, Ruby Spikes Whittenberg, in May 2008. I miss her every single day. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. \r\n\r\nTreasure your memories.
