Edna Midkiff Burrow
Edna Midkiff Burrow, 86, entered peacefully into rest on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at her home in Leesville, Louisiana. Edna was born to Houston Cecil Midkiff and Pearl Oleta (Smith) Midkiff on October 9, 1934, in Cottonwood, Louisiana.
Visitation will begin Friday, November 20, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at Temple Baptist in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, Visitation will start at 1:00 PM and service will begin at 2:00 PM, Temple Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Lloyd Carrol and Rev. Wade Carrol officiating. Interment will follow at Rosepine Cemetery, Rosepine, LA.
Edna was happily married for 64 years; she enjoyed cooking, spending hours in her flowerbeds, playing cards, and most of all playing marbles. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren were the delight of her life.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Marvin Burrow; children Gaye Pickle, Gerald Cryer, Clifton Burrow, and Randall Burrow all of Leesville, LA; brothers Cleveland Midkiff and wife Shirley of Leesville, LA, Dewey Midkiff and wife Brenda of Fort Worth, TX; sisters Hilda Heidemann and husband Glenn, Verda Mercer, Elma Mason all of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren Chad Abbott, Marty Cryer, Clifton R. Burrow, II, Sandy Barmore, Misty Burrow, Miranda Burrow; great grandchildren Kayla Abbott, Cody Abbott, Ayden Burrow, Kyleigh Burrow, Brystol Burrow, Gavyn Burrow, Kaydence Fontenot, Drew Barmore, Cohen Barmore, and great-great grandchildren Aaliyah, Madeline and Layden.
Preceded in death by her parents Houston Cecil Midkiff and Pearl Oleta (Smith) Midkiff; siblings Hermon Midkiff, Harold Midkiff, Harris Midkiff, Hazel Nash, and Liz Froemming.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Wendell Oakes, Don Oakes, Kevin Oakes, Greg Mason, Shannon Midkiff, and James Lee Froemming.
