Eddie Hickman Sr.'s Obituary
Visitation for Eddie Hickman Sr., 76, of Leesville will be held from 12:30 P.M. -1:30 P.M on Friday, July 3, 2020 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, LA., following the visitation there will be a graveside service around 2:00 P.M. at the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville, LA., under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, LA.
Eddie Hickman, Sr. was born August 27, 1943 to Eula Hickman and Eddis Hickman. He was the second of eighteen children. Early in life, he accepted Christ as his Savior at Ellen Burr Baptist Church of Leesville, La. They were blessed with a beautiful family of three loving daughters and five caring sons. Eddie was a strong, loving and caring man and was willing to share his blessings and love with anyone. Eddie gained his wings Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Our Lady of Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, four sisters Shirley Hickman, Paulina Hickman, Sue Hickman, and Betty Hickman. Four brothers, Ace Hickman, Cleveland Hickman, Leonard James Hickman and Emmitt Hickman, one beloved son Sylvester Lucius. Those remaining to cherish his memories are: five sons, Carlos Hickman, Eddie Hickman (Tish), Atony Hickman (Shay), Frank Hickman and Erik Hickman; three daughters Eula Davis (Antonio), Ozie Hickman Gill (Marcus) and April Hickman all of Leesville, La, seven sisters, Gracie (Elisha) Shaw, Magalene Russell, Linda Lucius, Gloria Hickman, Clara Hickman, Theresa Hickman all of Leesville, La., Nedra Ann Fuller of Newton, Tx.; two brothers Paul Hickman of Leesville, La. and Billy Hickman of Odessa, Tx. He also leaves six beloved children Brittani Jones, Sara Pierce, Chelsea Samuels, Boomie Williams and Johnnie Williams. He also leaves behind twenty-two grandchildren to cherish his love as well as, many other relatives and friends
