Ed Windham, Sr.'s Obituary
Memorial services for Ed Windham, Sr., 77, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. W. T. Shelton and Rev. Morris Goins officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 1st, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel.
Ed, the son of James Bailey and Effie McDuffie Windham, was born on November 3, 1937, in Samson, AL. He passed away at his residence in Leesville, on Wednesday, January 28, 2015.
Mr. Windham served in the United States Army for three years as an MP. He worked as an electrician and had worked for Richard Sarver, Arlin Smith and Don’s Electric. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and in-laws, Johnny & Bessie Mae Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Billie Windham of Leesville; son, Eddie Windham, Jr. of Leesville; daughters, Cora Adaway of Leesville & Faye Giese of Panama City, FL; sisters, Joann Miller of Hiawassee, GA, Merle Haskins of Leesburg, FL, Sybil Wireck of Thomasville, GA, Carolyn Brown of Leesburg, FL & Jean Windham of Leesburg, FL; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
