Earnest Alton Fox's Obituary
Funeral services for Earnest Alton “Al” Fox, 70, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville with Bro. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Canaan Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 10 p.m., Wednesday, April 18th, and on Thursday, April 19th from 9:00 am until service time in the church.
Earnest was born August 3, 1941, in Anacoco, LA. He passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, in Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Fox worked for the Houston P.D. after retiring from IBFW Local 716.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Viola Morris, Nellie Thompson, Vera Self and Beatrice Fox.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elaine M. Fox of Leesivlle, LA; sons, David Fox of Leesville, LA & Wayne Fox of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; step-daughter, Lisa Whitehurst of Leesville, LA; siblings, Varnie Mae Harralson of Anacoco, LA, Vonnie Kay of Leesville, LA, Horace Elton Fox of Pasadena, TX & Edith Mitchell of Leesville, LA; grandchildren, Jacqualyn Fox, Beth Fox, Jonathan Fox, Shayna Fox, Trevor Fox, Ryan Whitehurst, Shay-Leigh Whitehurst & Marlee Whitehurst and great grandchildren, Jaydin Fox Linhart & Emily Fox.
