Douglas "Randy" Lowe's Obituary
Funeral services for Douglas “Randy” Lowe, 57, of Lake Charles, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in the chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 5:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Douglas “Randy” Lowe was born on June 30, 1966, in Shreveport, LA, to his parents, Raymond Travis Lowe and Vada Doyle Lowe. Randy sadly departed from this life on February 29, 2024, with his longtime girlfriend, Phyllis, at his side after a brief illness.
Randy served with honor in the United States Armed Forces, serving abroad. He enjoyed reading newspapers, AM radio, trivia, and his family. He was a kind, caring, compassionate, intelligent person that was admired by his peers.
Left to cherish his memory is his girlfriend: Phyllis Luckie; his mother: Vada Sternburg; his brothers: “Johnny Dale”, Keith, Dorman, Darnell, John, Robert, Joseph, and Timothy; his sisters: Sue, Barbara, Jackie, and Sherry and all their families; with a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father: Raymond Lowe; his stepfather: Leonard Sternburg; and his brothers: Irvin “Jack” Lowe, and Donald “John boy” Walton.
