Doug will be greatly missed. When he worked for the Fire Marshall's Office, he came out many times, day and night, when we called him to come investigate fires in our fire district. He also taught numerous arson investigating classes at our department. He visited our fire prevention booth last year at the DeQuincy Railroad Days Festival, and it was so great to see him. He always had a smile on his face and treated our firefighters with great respect. Our thoughts and prayers are with Doug's family. He was a great, great man.
