Douglas "Gray Jacket" Willis' Obituary
Funeral services for Douglas “Gray Jacket” Willis, 77, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 30, 2011, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Bro. Travis Murray officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Island Cemetery in Pickering, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 1 pm - 9 pm Friday, July 29, 2011, and on Saturday, July 30, 2011, from 8:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Douglas, the son of William and Creasy Thompson Willis was born on May 31, 1934, in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. He passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2011, at the VA Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
He is survived by his cousin, Cecil Thompson and special friends, Buddy Norris, Michael & Alice O’Banion, Tommy & Mamie Chouest, Winston & Gail Cooper, Allen & Kim Cooper, Alva & Alice Duncan and Margie & Bill Decker.
