In her spare time, she had a creative nature in making beautiful wedding cakes for everyone. But most of all, her heart rested within her family that she loved and adored. Her caring spirit will live on in the hearts of her children and grandchildren who dearly miss her.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Barney Sammons and wife Juanita of Many, Steve Sammons and wife Sharon of DeRidder, and Shelby Sammons of Hineston; daughter, Penny Hunnicutt and husband Tim of DeRidder; sisters, Bertha Bailey of DeRidder, Marjorie Cole of DeRidder; five grandchildren, Brent Sammons and Sandy, Greg Sammons and Presley, Doug Sammons and Amber, Erika Cooper, and Shelby Cooper; six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
