Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Bonds' Obituary
Dorothy Ann “Dottie” Bonds, 81, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this world on Sunday, September 28, 2014, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family from complications of lung cancer. Dorothy was born in The Bronx, New York and had been a resident of DeRidder for over 20 years. She was a retired secretary from Laborers Training School in New York. She enjoyed her friends, gardening and her computer. She is survived by her friends and caregivers, Doug and Rachel Kelley of DeRidder; their children and grandson, Elizabeth Kelley and boyfriend, Dillion Richard of DeQuincy, Emmett Kelley and girlfriend, Danelle Guzman of DeRidder, Emilee Kelley and boyfriend, David Wix of Westlake and her favorite little man, Lukas Kelley of DeRidder, also her birth children, Laverne Ashworth and Renita Moore.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
