Doris Brumley's Obituary
Funeral services for Doris W. Brumley, 77, of Pickering, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, with Rev. Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stephens Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 28th, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Doris, the daughter of Lucas and Nina Musgrove Wilson, was born August 16, 1937 in Leesville, LA. She passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, in Alexandria, LA.
Mrs. Brumley worked for the Vernon Parish School board for over twenty three years. She loved playing bingo, fishing, crafts and painting. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Malcom Brumley; siblings, Jimmy Wilson, Evelyn Ross and Sandra Brumley; and granddaughter, Michelle Brumley.
She is survived by her son, Rick Brumley and wife, LaLane of Pickering; daughters, Susie Audrey and husband, Charles of Roselle Belton, TX and Polly Peek and husband Robin of Pickering; brother, Luke Wilson of Pickering; sister, Ramona Vinson of Pickering; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
