Donald Gene Cook, 51, of Dodson, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Leesville, LA. Donald, the son of Jackie Lee Cook and Joy Dale Lindsey Cook, was born on January 31, 1967, in West Monroe, LA.
Graveside service will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at Drakes Fork Cemetery, Cravens, LA.
Donald was a firefighter at Winn Parish Fire Department, Winnfield, LA. He loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. He was a loving brother and loved children and playing the guitar.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Dallas G. Cook and Danny Cook of Oregon; two daughters, Tabitha Cook of West Monroe, LA, and Donelle Cook of Oregon; five brothers, Greg T. Cook of Simmsboro, LA, John D. Cook of Farmerville, LA, Larry Cook of West Monroe, LA, Lee Cook of Mississippi, and Curtis Cook of West Monroe, LA; and one sister, Kathryn Miller of Leesville, LA.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jackie Lee and Joy Dale Cook, and brother, Jackie D. Cook.
