Dolores E. Hammack's Obituary
Mrs. Dolores E. Hammack of Monroe, long time resident of Leesville, and native of Ponchatoula, died Thursday, September 17, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. She was 84. She was a lifelong housewife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Captain Robert D. Hammack Sr.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Bob) Hammack of Monroe and William (Bill) Hammack of New Orleans and their wives, Kathy and Janice. Additional survivors include five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition, there are numerous “adopted” sons, daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren that meant so much to her during her life.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Services will be 11 AM, Monday, September 21st, at the Grace Bible Church in Leesville, the internment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, Rev. Larry Davis and Sandy Guynn will be officiating.
