Diann L. Boothe, 76, entered into rest on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Diann was born on June 29, 1944 in Sondheimer, LA to Sam Bowman Kirby Jr. and Winnie Opal Dempsey Kirby.
Diann married the love of her life Ronald Boothe on September 3, 1961. They moved to DeRidder in 1971 and built a family here until his passing in April of 2000. She enjoyed working in the yard, doing home crafts and making jellies. She loved caring for her family and her friends. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronald D. Boothe of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Rhonda Watson of DeRidder; brothers, Michael Wayne Kirby of Magnolia, AR and Danny Ray Kirby of El Dorado, AR; sisters, Mable Vahaugh of El Dorado, AR, Dorothy Ann Brown of Chidister, AR, Brenda Sue Kirby of White Hall, AR and Linda Sue Kirby of White Hall, AR; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her loved ones, Sam Bowman Kirby, Jr., father; Winnie Opal Dempsey Kirby, mother; Ronald Boothe, husband; Jeanette Kirby Misenheimer, sister; Sammy Ray Kirby, brother and Babe Everett Kirby, brother.
Cremation services under the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA.
