Funeral services for Derrell Wayne Ashworth, 77, of Leesville, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in the Providence Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Arlin Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the John C Read Obituary

Ive been blessed in my life with a ton of family and friends and theres always someone in that group that holds a special place in your heart, even if its years between seeing them. Uncle Wayne was one of those special people for me. Just seeing him walk into a room made my heart smile with love and joy. His hugs were the best and you never wanted him to let you go. He will be missed by many. God has another angel in His fold. Ill love you always.
Praying for you all during this time. I havent seen Mr Ashworth in many years but any time we visited him, Ms Shawnee and their family we felt right at home like we were part of the family. Good memories... Gods comfort & grace be with you all.
