Della Lejeune Henagan's Obituary
Funeral services for Della Henagan, 87, of DeRidder, LA, will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. George Lee Glass and Rev. Ricky Treece officiating. Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA. Della passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011, in Resthaven Nursing and Rehab Center in Lake Charles. Visitation will begin Monday, October 17, 2011, from 5 PM until 9 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA, and continue from 9 A.M. until time of the service Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in Grace Church in DeRidder.
Della was born June 8, 1924, in Palmetto, LA, to Azenor and Ament LeDoux LeJeune. She lived most of her life in DeRidder and was formerly employed as a sales clerk for West Brothers Dept. Store and also worked for the Tenny Egg Company. She was best remembered for caring for children in her home where she was lovingly known as “Miss Hen”. She was a member of Grace Church in DeRidder.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Henagan and wife Bettie of Lake Charles, LA, and Raymond Henagan and wife Connie of Rock Port, MO; five grandchildren, Dean Henagan, Tami Mendoza and husband Tommy, Paul Henagan and wife Chenell, David Henagan and wife Rochelle, and Aimee Hill and husband Jonathan.
