Debby Hunt Mace's Obituary
Debby Hunt Mace, 60 of Leesville, La passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Debby was born on August 17, 1960. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Revs Wesley Jackson and Mark Christian officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until time of service on Monday, in the Funeral Home.
She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, decorating and shopping for Christmas, and visiting the mountains and beach with friends and family. Throughout her life, she attended cosmetology school, was employed by the Vernon Parish School Board, and currently was employed by the Vernon Parish Health Unit.
Debby is survived by her daughter Alesha Cavanaugh and husband Jim of Zachary, LA, daughter Megan Andrus and fiancé Joey Duhon of Leesville, and son Bobby Mace of Leesville. Debby was proud of her beautiful grandchildren and loved to spoil them: Jackson, Allie, Malaya, Brantley, Paizlee, and Chase.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murray Clyde Hunt and Virginia “Lulu” Hunt of Leesville.
Her family would like to thank all family and friends for the love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. They would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, and ICU staff at Byrd Hospital for the comforting care that was provided.
