David "Buddy" Stephens' Obituary
Funeral services for David “Buddy” Stephens, 79, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2012, at Cooper Baptist Church with Rev. Edgar Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, April 12th, at the funeral home.
David, the son of Chester Arthur and Lola Ursula Cryer Stephens was born November 14, 1932, in Leesville, LA. He passed away Tuesday, April 10th, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA.
Mr. Stephens was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. He was a member of Cooper Baptist Church where he served faithfully for many years a greeter. He was a hard worker and loved working outside and raising gardens.
David is survived by his brother, M.C. “Tot” Stephens of New Llano; sisters, Faye Johnson of Ft. Worth, TX & Gladys Lenard of Pickering and a host of nieces and nephews.
