David E Nash's Obituary
Funeral services for David E. Nash, 79, of Leesville will be held Sunday, March 26, 2017, at 2 pm at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. Terry Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 25th from 5 pm until 8 pm, then Sunday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
David, the son of Leonard E. and Lilly Pearl Odom Nash, was born in Chaneyville, LA. He passed away on Friday, March 24th at the Woodlands Nursing Center in Leesville, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Nash and sister Dorothy DeVille.
David was a US Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict. He worked at the Carpenter shop at Fort Polk and retired after 29 years. David’s passion was deer hunting but his love was his family, especially his grandchildren. What he wouldn’t do for his grandkids, even if it meant that he would get kicked out of a baseball game.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dolores Nash, son Dale and Laura Nash, grandchildren Danelle Nash Williamson and Dustin Tanner Nash; great grandchildren, Ryatt and Anniston Williamson all of Leesville; brother, Leonard and Olivia Nash of Forest Hill, LA and sister, Sylvia and Wayne Vanlangendonck of LeCompte, LA
