David was born on December 19, 1958, in DeRidder, LA. to his parents, Robert and Ann Watson Stolzle. He passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Genuine, kind, and giving-all words used to describe Dave. He never met a stranger, and, if he did, they definitely didn’t stay that way for long. His ability to love and be loved was like no other. Dancing Dave, Daddy, and PawPaw were all the best parts of him that he shared with everyone. He was often found sitting on the front porch, enjoying the sunshine, and watching the cars pass. If the weather wouldn’t allow then he could always be found watching his beloved Westerns and biding his time until he could get back in the saddle of a horse of his own. Dave loved his family. His children and grandchildren were some of his greatest joys. Watching them run, play, talking with them, and just enjoying their company brought him such happiness. To know him was to love him, which led to many new friendships throughout his life. His tiny best friend, Bristol, offered “PawPaw Dave” such unconditional love and they shared a special bond. If you had the opportunity to cross paths with Dave along the way, you surely knew what a kind and generous man he was. Sitting around being able to talk and tell stories meant the world to him. You were guaranteed to walk away with a smile after a visit with him.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Robert Stolzle Sr., of Natchitoches, LA: one son, Bobby Stolzle of Leesville, LA two daughters, Jennifer Stolzle of Leesville and Jessica Stolzle of DeRidder, LA; one brother, Robert Lucian Stolzle (Rhonda) of Rodessa, LA; four sisters, Lisa Zeller of Shreveport, LA, Holly Brown (Dean) of Rockaway Beach, MO, Dolly Sanderson of Branson, MO, and Dawn Reed (Shannon) of Hollister, MO; ten grandchildren, Abbie White, Desiree White, Haley Endres, Hayden Endres, Jathan Stolzle, Jaden Hilton, Jaylin Hilton, Gracie Easterling, Bella Easterling, and Hope Easterling.
