Funeral services for Rev. Darrell B. Willis, 59, of Leesville will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Leesville, Louisiana with the Rev. Glen Thomas and Rev. Scott Burns will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana.
Friends may visits 8 am until service time in the church Wednesday, December 17th.
Darrell passed away Monday, December 15th, at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, Louisiana.
He was a lifelong residence of the Leesville area, he formerly worked for Southern Pipe for 23 years and has currently working for Westin Services. He also was the pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. Darrell loved to hunt and fish and was a loving husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his father Noble B. Willis; step-son, Thomas “Jody” Jeane and granddaughter, Dakotah Cheyenne Willis.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Nancy Willis of Leesville; Son Darrell “Benny” Willis, Jr (fiancée Terri) of Anacoco; Step-sons, Jason (wife, Angela) Jeane and Toby (wife, Michelle) Jeane both of Leesville; Daughters, Brandy (husband, Scott) Perkins of Leesville and Pam Bass of Lumberton, TX; brothers, James and Alton Dalme both of Leesville; Sisters, Dawanna Reibold and Shonda Hicks both of Leesville; mother, Johnnie Marie Dalme of Leesville, LA; Grandchildren, Neil Peters, Jared Willis, Skylar Bebout, Justin Martin, Kristi Jeane, Kaitlyn Jeane and Alexis Jeane and numerous nephews and nieces
