Darrell Wayne Egbert's Obituary
Funeral services for Darrell Wayne Egbert, 67, of Florien will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at 1 pm at Prewitt’s Chapel Church in Hornbeck, with Rev. Nick Hilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9th, from 10 am until time of service at the church.
Darrell, the son of William LeRoy and Helen Bell Renfro Egbert, was born on June 11, 1949, in Odessa, Texas. He passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Wayne Egbert; sister, Linda Egbert and grandchildren, Andrew Egbert and Delana Jade Egbert.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Maydel Hickman Egbert of Florien; daughter, Trisha Ann Miller of Lafayette; siblings, Cynthia Denise Welsh of Florien, Melissa Denise Egbert of Leesville and Joshua Wayne Egbert of Hornbeck, grandson, Christopher Miller and great-grandson, Holden Hoffpauir.
