Funeral services for Dr. Darlene Blackwell Bennett Thompson, Ed.D., will be held Tuesday, February 16th at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church in Leesville with Rev. Jeff Coleman and Rev. Craig Forgue officiating. Burial will follow Read Obituary
I amdeeply saddened by the loss for the family, I worked for Ms. Darlene and Mr. Mitch as their maid twice weekly and got to know them..my time with them will never be forgotten as she and I prayed during the time I lost my mother..god be with this family in their time of sorrow..kay walker

Darlene is my first cousin. I'm her Aunt Minnie's youngest daughter.I haven't seen her in years, I lived in Houston Tx.It's only Dexter & I left.I'm sorry for the loss of your Mom. My sympathy goes out to each of you.My prayers will be with each of you.
