Daniel Lee Scott's Obituary
With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation, Psalms 91:16.
Daniel Lee Scott, the son of the late William and Martha Scott departed this life on 14th of September, 2018.
Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at 10:00 AM, in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Lindsey Burns officiating. Internment will immediately follow at Central Louisiana Veteran Cemetery, 3348 University Pkwy, Leesville, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memories two devoted nieces, Linda(Samuel) Sherman and Cynthia (Robert) Smith. One daughter, Diane (Otis) Treford, many more raised daughters. Three sons, James Scott, Daniel Scott, Jr., and Daniel Jackson. Sister, Alice Craig; and brother-in-law, Charles Mitchell. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He retired from Western Auto as an automobile mechanic. He was baptized at an early age and was a member of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed reading and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Williams Scott Jr.; three sisters, Lenoria (John) Anderson, Marion Mitchell and Annie Mae Johnson; and son, Reginald Jackson.
