I have so many happy memories of my cousin Dan….when I was growing up so spent a couple weeks every summer at “Uncle Homer and Aunt Evie’s house…I looked forward to it every time! He and I were the same age…With Danny and Mike and the other MAC clan cousins and relatives who might have been there too, it was a wonderful family atmosphere. We had a ton of fun and some escapades, but never did any serious mischief as far as I can remember. Danny was such a good person and had such an admirable career. I am very proud to say he was my cousin…he will be missed by those of us who knew him.

My cousin Dan was a great guy, with a great sense of humor and patience with the younger me when we'd visit Aunt Evie and Uncle Homer! I enjoyed visiting Dan and Mike when they were at model railroad events, and when they would come to Olathe to visit my folks. Always a great time seeing Dan, and would like to share my condolences with his family and friends.

Dan was my boss while working at TRICARE Service Center, Ft Polk. He was always very caring and sensitive to the patients needs or request. He treated his staff with respect and was a friend to each through all the ups and downs of work and life challenges. I enjoyed my time at work because of our TRICARE family supporting one another while serving our military population. Good leaders are hard to come by, but I feel we had one of the best.
