Dalton "Red" Perkins' Obituary
Funeral services for Dalton “Red” Perkins, 75, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Bro. Steven Netherland and Bro. Randy Boswell, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery in Pickering, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Friday, January 20, 2012, and Saturday, January 21st from 9:00 a.m. until time service time at the funeral home.
Dalton, the son of Elbert L. and Mary Helen Craft Perkins was born on August 10, 1936, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at his residence in Leesville, LA. Red loved to quail hunt, horseback riding and traveling. But most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 ½ years, Patsy Sue Thompson Perkins; daughters, Reitha Sue & husband, Randy Boswell, Sr., Sharon Lou Perkins & Sherrica Ann & husband, Ralph Littlefield, Sr.; daughter at heart, Kimberly LeFeat Kezerle; son at heart Jerry Allen Twyman & wife, Cindy; grandson, Joseph “Joey” Dowden & wife Sondra, Christopher “Chris” Dowden & wife, Linda, Randolph “Randy” Boswell, Jr., & wife Judy, Chadwick “Chad” Boswell all of Leesville; Ralph Littlefield, Jr., & wife Rebecca; granddaughter, Angela Littlefield of GA; 8 great grandsons, 4 great granddaughters; brothers, Jerald Wayne Perkins of Leesville & Jimmy Ray Craft of Texarkana, TX; sisters, Ruth & husband, James Walters, Barbara & husband, Carlton DeVille of Deville and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
