A Memorial Service for Dale Williams, 63, of DeRidder, LA will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Rev. Zale Lewis & Rev. George L. Glass, Jr. will officiate. Mr. Williams passed from this life on Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Alexandria, LA.
Dale was born on Friday, May 4, 1951, to Ralph & Lovell Ashworth Williams in DeRidder, LA.
He is survived by 3 sons, Austin Dale Williams & wife Colleene of DeRidder, LA, David Eli Williams of Monroe, LA and Joel Allen Williams of Pearl, MS;
1 daughter, Sarah Jo Burgess of Pineville, LA and 5 grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by his mother Lovell Williams.
He was a lifelong resident of DeRidder where he graduated from DeRidder High School. He attended McNeese State University earning a degree in Accounting. He began working for W.A. Johnson & Williams over a span of 30 plus years where he was an employee, partner & owner. Dale was also a Commissioner for the DeRidder Housing Authority.
