Dale Weaver's Obituary
Funeral services for Dale Weaver, 73, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Tom Jordan officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Centuries Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at the funeral home.
Dale was born August 22, 1938, in Bossier City, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Mr. Weaver was a professional lead guitarist for ten years in Nashville; furthermore he was the staff guitarist for the Louisiana Hay Ride. He retired from the U. S. Civil Service after 30 years. He was an avid fisherman. He loved to cook and loved music. He was passionate about working in his yard & garden.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Odell Louviere; brother, Van Weaver and sister, Deena Louviere.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Weaver of Anacoco; son, Mark & Allison Weaver of Pineville; daughters, Terri Weaver of Pineville; Paeton & Eric Burkett of Denham Springs and Teri & Shon Stanley of Wasilla, AK; brother, Pat Louviere of Bossier City and grandchildren, Lindsay, Taylor, Tyler, Delaney, Matthew and Nicholas.
