Curtis Pittman's Obituary
Funeral services for Curtis Pittman, 91, of Leesville, will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in the New Willow Baptist Church of Leesville with Rev. Ronale Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 12:00 P.M– 1:00 P.M in the church.
Curtis Pittman was born February 8, 1931, in Dublin, Georgia. He passed away from this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 6, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the second child of 6 children, born to the late James Pittman and Leila Pittman Turner.
He served his country for 23 years in the United States Army – having served in the Vietnam War, two tours to Korea to serve in the Korean War, along with serving at other military bases. He retired from the Army from Ft. Polk in 1982. Then he ventured on to Civil Service and after Civil Service he opened his own lawn care service.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lorene Brown Pittman. He leaves to treasure his memory, one son: Leon Pittman (Juanita) of East Dublin, Georgia; two daughters: Tainue Pittman of Shreveport, Louisiana, Teresa Pittman-Delgado (Jeffrey, Sr.); 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
