Funeral services for Clyde Buford Owns, 74, of Leesville will be held Saturday, February 25, 2017, at 1 pm at Ebenezer Church in Hicks. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, February 24th from 5 pm until time of service at the church.
Clyde, the son of Buford Amos and Opal Jane Smith Owens, was born on August 31, 1942, in Leesville, Louisiana. He passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, in Leesville, Louisiana.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Owens of Leesville; daughter, Maggie Maddox of Rosepine; brothers, Herman Owens of Tioga, Marcus Owens of Pitkin, and Thelbert Owens of Texas; sister, Barbara Edwards of Anacoco; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
