Clinton Joseph LaBombard, Jr., 84, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Baton Rouge General, with his daughter Rhonda Mayes and his son Jason LaBombard by his side in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was born in Plattsburgh, New York to Clinton Joseph LaBombard, Sr. and Rita LaMora LaBombard on August 14, 1937. Clint was a market manager and meat cutter by trade for 44 years. His career included manager and butcher for the Grand Union in Plattsburgh, NY and for Brookshire Brothers in Shreveport, Louisiana.
A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
He is preceded in death by his parents Clinton Joseph LaBombard, Sr. and Rita LaMora LaBombard; grandparents; and two baby sons Joey and Kevin.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara of 36 years; brothers Clifford LaBombard and wife Beverly of Glens Falls, NY, Bruce LaBombard and wife Carolyn of Summerville, SC; son David Clifford LaBombard and wife Terri of West Chazy, NY; a daughter Julie Mangum and husband Kevin of Abilene, TX; son Jason LaBombard and wife Malia of Cantonment, FL, daughter Rhonda Mayes of DeRidder, LA; and a very special great-grandson Kacyn Mayes of DeRidder, LA. He has eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
