He attended school at Vernon Elementary, Vernon High School and graduated from Leesville High School. He joined the United States Army after graduating from Leesville High School. He was skilled in carpentry and road construction, which his hands were in the completion of Hwy 171 construction project during the 1970s.
He loved fishing, cooking pinto beans and watching westerns and the New Orleans Saints on T.V. Clint’s enjoyable moments were seeing his granddaughter Kelti dance ballet and watch her do cart wheel flips in her parent’s front yard while they grilled BBQ. He would clap his hands for Kelti and just laugh.
