Funeral services for Mrs. Claudia McNeely Parker, 86 of Simpson, LA
will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Simpson Church of God – Simpson, LA
The Rev. Carol Adams and Rev. Lorraine Smith will officate. The burial will follow in the Welcome Cemetery in Simpson, LA
Friends may visit Sunday, September 23rd at the church from 4:00 pm until service time Monday, September 24th, in the church.
Mrs. Parker passed away Saturday, September 22nd at the Woodlands Care Center in Leesville, LA
She born in the Wilda Community, Louisiana. She retired as a nurse after 30 years she worked for Dr. Biggs in Leesville for over fifteen years. She was a lifelong member of the Simpson Church of God. She was a loving mother and was affectionately known as Maw-maw to all, not to mention a top notch “Biscuit Maker”.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Dewayne Parker and three children, Vernon Parker, Roger Dale Parker and Carol Simmons
She is survived by Two Sons:Royce (wife, Sharon) Parker of Simpson, LA and Dwight (wife, Tammie) Parker of Silsbee, TX; Two Daughters, Kay (husband, Larry) Peachey of Melville, New Jersey and Pam King of Simpson, LA; Two Daughter-in- Laws:Ruth Parker of Simpson, LA and Jeannie Parker of Simpson, LA; 20 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren
